Qusay
Owner and Founder of AdapTutors
Hey, I'm Qusay, and I'm proud to say I'm the founder and owner of AdapTutors. My vision is one where older, talented students are given the opportunity to help younger, eager students, benefitting everyone (hence why I founded AdapTutors)! I hope you as a customer, or as a tutor, can flourish in a positive learning environment here at AdapTutors!
Maths Tutor

Oscar Nowatschek
University of Cambridge, Mathematics BA (Hons)
I’m committed to helping students understand the reasoning behind maths, not just which tricks to memorise. This deeper understanding is key to reach the top grades. During each session we will look at a topic that the students are struggling on, go over explanations and then secure this knowledge in long-term memory through past-paper questions. This method ensures students truly understand the content, while improving problem solving skills and exam technique.
Biology Tutor

Sandy Collins
University of Cambridge, Natural Sciences MSci
Over 2 years of tutoring experience in Maths, English and Science. I work to inspire my students to take a deeper interest in the sciences, rather than just regurgitating content, as from this deeper understanding, links and connections can be made between different topics across the sciences, ultimately resulting in more informed answers and better grades. I personally believe that this philosophy not only improves grades but also makes learners more receptive to new ideas, providing an improved learning strategy for continued development past exams.
Physics Tutor

Jawad Uddin
Imperial College London, Design Engineering MEng
Experienced tutor, including one of my students achieving an A in AS-level Physics. On top of teaching you the content you need to succeed, I strongly believe in the power of metacognitive strategies: strategies that encourage students to monitor and evaluate their own learning - so that students come away from my lessons asking themselves the questions that drive a passion for the subject. I empower students to take charge of their own learning and become self-sufficient.
